Ahmadis are Non-Muslims

Ahmadi, Qadiyani or Mirzai is the title given to the followers of Ahmadiyya or Qadiyani community. This movement was formed by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani in 1889. Parliament of Pakistan declared Ahmadiyya community non-Muslims and thus a minority in 1974. Now-a-Days there are a lot of people on social networking sites such as twitter and blogging sites such as Pak Tea House who are aggressively claiming that Ahmadis are Muslims and no one can declare them non-Muslims. Most of them are Ahmadis themselves but there are also some Liberal Muslims who believe that supporting Ahmadiyya community is the reason they are sent on this planet. I am writing this article to express my views about Ahmadiyya movement, its followers and try to tell my Muslim brothers to prevent themselves in falling prey to Ahmadi propaganda.

The founder of Ahmadiyya community, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani was born in 1839 in Town of Qadiyan, Gurdaspur district of British India. In 1889 he started Ahmadiyya movement and claimed to be the promised Messiah, Mehdi, Prophet and second advent of Holy Prophet (PBUH) (Nauzubillah).  He declared Jihad against the British Empire un-Islamic and declared British government of India a blessing of God. He also claimed that Hazrat Essa survived the crucifixion in Jerusalem and fled to Kashmir and lived there for 120 years. According to him the tomb of Hazrat Essa is in Srinagar, capital of Indian held Kashmir. This is in complete contradiction to Islamic belief, as it’s clearly stated in Quran and Hadiths that Hazrat Essa was raised physically to heavens and would return at the time of the end of world[1]. The founder of Ahmadiyya community died in a very painful condition in 1908 in Lahore[2]. The community having a founder like him can be Muslims? The answer is obviously no.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in his writings and sayings has ridiculed everyone who doesn’t accept him as the promised messiah. According to him anyone who doesn’t have faith in his prophethood is a child of a prostitute. He writes in one of his books:

Like a waste paper, I discard all those Hadiths (of Holy Prophet PBUH) which are contradictory to my Revelations and Claims."(Zamima Nuzool-e-Maseeh, Roohani Khazain Vol 19 p.140)
Around 80 books written by him have been compiled in a single book Titled as”Rohani Khazain.” This book itself contains a lot of humiliating things about the founder of the movement. There has hardly been any translation of this book and requests by End of Prophethood movement, to translate this book into English have been turned down[3]. This is evident of the fact that Ahmadiyya community doesn’t want to bring the life of its founder into light, fearing that they will be exposed.

Documentary evidence of Ahmadiyya movement rejecting the request to Translate Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's books in English

Ahmadiyya community was declared non-Muslims by national assembly of Pakistan in 1974. In 1984, an ordinance was issued by government according to that Ahmadis can’t call themselves Muslims and can’t use the Muslim exclusive terms for Masjid, Namaz and Azan. Previously, Mauritius was the first country to declare them non-Muslims in 1930, followed by South Africa. In 1974, An International Convention of Islamic Scholars was held in Makkah, in which scholars from 124 countries unanimously declared the Ahmadis non-Muslims. All school of thoughts in Pakistan; Barhelvi, deobandi, Shia, Ahle-Hadis etc, also have unanimously declared them apostates. Now all the Muslims on the world on one side and Ahmadiyya community on the other, for obvious reasons the latter is wrong about its claim to be a Muslim community. Ahmadis often say that they have played a huge part in Pakistan movement and Quaid-e-Azam never objected on their beliefs so how can others question their Beliefs? Quaid-e-Azam has never said anything in Support of them, In fact the national poet and Architect of Pakistan Allama Iqbal has openly denounced Ahmadis and gone to the extent of warning Muslims about Ahmadiyya movement propaganda.

After the war of Independence of 1857 in India, British thought of damaging the Islam from within. For this purpose Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani was chosen. He declared jihad Unislamic and British government as Blessing of God; this proves that he served his British masters. Even now British government is supporting Ahmadiyya community; the headquarters of both Ahmadiyya groups (Lahori group and Qadiyani Group) are situated in England. The so-called caliph of Ahmadis also resides in London. Ahmadiyya movement is very useful in damaging Islam from within its own ranks.  Many people who are unaware of the reality of Ahmadis are easily trapped by them, examples include Bosnian Refugees, Albanians and Muslims of Mali and Ivory Coast.

Today Ahmadiyya community is being run like a religious-Trading corporation by the royal family of Ahmadis. The royal family exploits the members of community economically and psychologically. Every member has to pay a certain portion of his earnings to the community fund which is used in propagation of Ahmadi Beliefs. Ahmadiyya movement publishes magazines in different languages, they have their own radio and television channels and they also publish the distorted translation of Holy Quran in such a way that it suits their beliefs. This entire propaganda network can be very deadly in depriving the unaware Muslims from their faith.

Ahmadis use financial and sexual incentives to convince people belonging from different religions to become an Ahmadi. These days, they are also exaggerating a self-created Myth that Ahmadis are being persecuted in Pakistan. The social networks are the centre stage for this propaganda. We all condemn the killing of Ahmadis, killing any Human being is wrong whether He is an Ahmadi or a Muslim. There have been terrorist attacks on Ahmadi prayer houses couple of years back but this problem is not Ahmadi specific. There have been terrorist attacks on Dozens of Mosques in Pakistan and in numerous Shrines of saints as well. Ahmadis are not allowed to use Islamic prayer titles such as Masjid and Namaz and Azan, if Police in Lahore removes a sign board outside an Ahmadi Prayer center, which has any prohibited title written on it, then its merely following the law not persecution. Some newspapers are giving very generous coverage to Ahmadis and publishing a lot their propaganda material which is not fair.

The books written by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad are enough evidence against Him and his fake claims. Most Ahmadis have also not read all his books. His books are written in Urdu, Arabic and Persian how many Ahmadis know all three languages given that the community doesn’t allow the English translation of the books. Its time to wake up for Ahmadis as well, many Ahmadis have reverted back to Islam, others will also revert back if they know the reality of the Ahmadiyya movement. If an Ahmadis reads all the books of the founder of community with an open heart, then he will for sure leave the community once and for all. The Muslim brothers and sisters who are supporting Ahmadis in ignorance should also realize their responsibility and study the Ahmadiyya beliefs; they will also not be supporting it anymore if they know its reality. Faith is the most important thing for any Muslim and it should be protected at all costs and the biggest threat to the faith of unaware Muslims is the Ahmadi Fitna.

An open challenge and reward of Rs. 10,000,000 for Ahmadis by Illias sattar.
